This is a bit of a throwback, but it was a good day and I thought it deserved a post. It was kind of a spur of the moment trip. The weather was nice, so we thought "lets go!" Of course when you go to Stonehaven you have to go to Aunty Bettys, it is a must. We had lunch first in a cafe called Molly's, then we sat on the beach for a bit before eating ice cream.
After we ate the worlds most delicious ice cream, we just chilled for a bit and then wandered around. We went round to the harbor and sat on the wall, chatting away about our lives and what we'll be doing at uni, etc. while all the children paddled in the sea and built sandcastles.Oh how I miss being a kid. As the others were chit-chatting away I squealed as my dream car drove past. I could not miss the opportunity to take a photo.
As the sun began to set, all the locals began going home. Soon the beach was deserted and the pubs became busy. We were going to stay but it was starting to get very cold and none of us had jumpers to keep us cosy. It was also starting to get slightly cloudy so we wouldn't have seen it very well anyway. All in all it was a great day and a great end to the summer holidays.
